Akira lives again!

For years, Warner Bros. has been trying to get a live-action adaptation of the famous anime Akira of the ground. It seems this project has traction again as it rehired director Jaume Collet-Serra(Unknown). Last time, WB stopped pre-production because they wanted the script to be rewritten and decided to cut the budget. Now that  they have solved these problems, the studio wants Serra back as they are "in love with Collet-Serra’s vision".
I am not happy, as I am absolutely certain that the entire cast will NOT be Asian, rather Caucasian. Second, this director hasn't really impressed to give him a benefit of a doubt. We'll see in the coming months how this project develops.
